ACCEPTANCEVILLE, USA - a poem

ACCEPTANCEVILLE, USA - a poem

We Take Our Vacations
In Acceptanceville, USA.
We Go There Every Summer.
When I Get Older,
I Hope To Own A Home There.
I Have Fun There
I Feel Understood
And, Of Course, Appreciated.
There's Lots Of Compassion, There
You Always Feel Like You Belong.
It Borders On The Towns Of
Unselfishness And Kindness.

There Is No Wrong Road To Take,
Because Any Place You Are,
Is A Good Place To Be.
The Weather Is As You
Would Like It,
In Acceptanceville-
It's Warm, Even When It's Cold.

Mount Boredom Is WAAAYYYYY Off
In The Distance,
It Barely Can Be Seen,
From ''Happiness Hill.''

All The Animals Are Friendly
And The Tap Water Is Tasty

The Teams Always Win.
There's No ''OVER THE TOP''
Competition.
We Don't Bother To Keep Score
It's Just ''FUN.''

Every Day Is New
Even The Same Old, Same Old,
I Feel Good
Maybe It's That We Share A Smile
I Don't Know.

The Maps Show, ACCEPTANCEVILLE, Is Within.
We CAN Get There From Here,
We May Have To Take An Unpaved Road -
The ''GEE, It's ME Free,'' Way.
