Many Years Ago Today,
Sgt. Pepper Taught The Band to Play.
They Say We Used to Drink a Lot,
And at Times We Used To SMOKE Some POT.
Enough Of That Then!
I Used To Play on Stage,
With The BOBBY DARLING SHOW!!
[One Of My FAVORITE People]
Kids Would Come To See Us
Some Were Under Age.
We Used To Laugh and Joke a Lot.
We Would Laugh, Anyway,
Even Without The POT!!
But, I Digress...
The Reinforcement Was Immediate,
If We Were Doing Well,
It Could Be HEAVEN!!
If We Were BOMBING,
It Could BE,
[You Know What!!]
I Say, Now, That Is In My PAST,
But, I Still Enjoy A ''Good Laugh,''
